Premium fencing is available in two overall lengths, 160cm, and 145cm. Each post can create an 7.5m bay of fencing. With the 160 post the top tape height is 50 inches or 127cm, and the 145 posts give a top tape height of 112cm or 44 inches. If chosen, the Powered Premium post has an energiser built into the top of the post that provides electrical energy to both tapes. It comes complete with an external rechargeable battery that plugs into the side of the post, and is magnetically held in place. It comes with a 240v charger and 24 volt cigar lighter adapter. A powered post will energise a minimum of 10 posts, provides 60 hours of service, and has a 4 hour recharge cycle. The unit is rated to be recharged 1000 times. Its beauty is in its simplicity, you simply connect the battery, pull out the activation pin, and your fence is live. No wires to connect, or separate energisers to earth etc. The Premium is the top of the range product where the tapes run internally within the post to the reels incorporated in its base. They have a robust metal ground spike. If you suffer very hard ground conditions, and are of a lighter build, you will find the Profi poles are easier to tread in than the Premium and may be more suitable. If you do not use the powered post you will need to make a separate electrical connection between the upper and lowe tapes.
